Firstly a case history is taken then the outer ear is examined to determine the extent of the wax build up and a picture taken which the patient is welcome to view.
Using sterile, disposable equipment the earwax is removed via a small suction tube (no water is used) and a further image taken of the cleared canal.
We are now operating a limited service during the pandemic. Disposable PPE will be worn during every appointment ,and the clinic room cleaned prior to every appointment. When attending the clinic please stay in your car until asked to enter. If possible face coverings should be worn by the patient. We are unable to treat a perforation. Please do not book an appointment if you have not been fit and well over the last 14 days or show any symptoms of Covid-19 such as high temperature, recent persistent cough, loss of taste or smell or if you have been diagnosed or been in contact with anyone diagnosed with covid-19. Looking forward to seeing you all again.
